To figure out which expenses you can submit for reimbursement under the health care or dependent care spending account, you can use a handy Eligible Expense List that we've licensed from the Employee Benefits Institute of America LLC.
The Eligible Expense List will also show you a listing of IRS approved eligible expenses for both the health care and dependent care spending account under the cafeteria/flex plan. This list is not intended to be a guarantee of reimbursement or eligibility. All claims are reviewed when they are received and the determination of eligibility or reimbursement is made based upon the information received from the plan participant. For additional details on expenses that your employer’s may include or exclude for the plan, please see your Summary Plan Description.
